What this page does

The Settings page lets you update your branding, portal behavior, taxes, and API access. Changes apply to your entire tenant account. You can come back and adjust at any time.

  • Branding: Name and contact details buyers will see.
  • Portal Options: Currency, timezone, order minimum, backorders, case packs, and restock visibility.
  • Taxes: Turn on tax calculation and set defaults.
  • API Access: Enable the API and manage your API key.
Tip: Look for a green "Saved." notice after you submit the form.

Who can use it

This page is designed for the wholesale admin. Only users with the Owner role can change these settings.

Quick start

  1. Open the Settings page from your admin area.
  2. Fill in your Branding details so buyers see the correct company information.
  3. Review Portal Options to set currency, timezone, and ordering rules.
  4. Turn on Taxes if you need the portal to calculate tax and set a default rate.
  5. Enable API Access if you plan to integrate with external systems. Generate a key if you need one.
  6. Click Save Settings. Look for the "Saved." notice at the top.

Taxes

Turn on tax calculation and choose how prices display.

Enable Tax Calculation - Turns tax on for your portal.

Common questions

Why do buyers see a different currency?
The portal uses your Default Currency unless a specific price list or rule overrides it.

How do restock dates appear?
If enabled, estimated dates show when you have incoming stock recorded for a product.

Do I need to use the API?
No. The API is optional. Use it only if you plan to sync data with another system.

What happens when I generate a new API key?
The old key is revoked immediately. Update any integrations with the new key.

Safe practices

  • Limit Settings access to trusted admins.
  • Rotate your API key when someone leaves your team or if it may have been exposed.
  • Review tax settings with your accounting team before enabling taxes.
