What this area is for: a quick, at-a-glance dashboard plus deeper reports to understand revenue, orders, customers, products, and inventory health.

1. Getting Around
The Reports area includes the following pages: Dashboard, Sales by Period, Top Customers, Top Products, and Inventory Health. Each page includes simple controls at the top to filter your view.
Common Controls
- Date From and Date To: choose a range. Use the dark date pickers for quick selection.
- Run/Update: applies your filters.
- Reset: clears filters and returns to the default range.
Reading Tables
- Values are right aligned where numeric. Totals appear as currency where relevant.
- Inline bars visualize size at a glance. Longer bar means a larger value within the current result set.
2. Dashboard
The Dashboard gives a fast overview of performance for a recent range by default. You can change the dates at the top and press Update.
KPIs
- Revenue: sum of order grand totals in range, excluding canceled.
- Orders: count of orders in range, excluding canceled.
- Avg Order Value: revenue divided by orders.
- Unique Customers: distinct customers that placed orders in range.
- Inbound Units: expected incoming units in the selected date range based on restock ETAs.
Sales Trend
Daily table with revenue and order count per day. Use the inline bars to spot peaks and valleys quickly.
3. Sales by Period
Roll up sales by day, week, or month within your chosen date range.
- Select a range using the date fields.
- Choose a grouping: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
- Press Run to refresh results. Reset returns to defaults.
4. Top Customers
See which customers drove the most revenue in the selected range.
- Use the date range controls, then press Update.
- The table shows rank, code, name, revenue, and order count.
- Use the pager at the bottom to move through large result sets.
5. Top Products
Identify products selling the most units and generating the most revenue.
- Pick your date range and press Update.
- Each row shows rank, SKU, product name, quantity sold, revenue, and a quick bar to compare quantities.
- Use the pager to navigate more results.
6. Inventory Health
Monitor items at or below their reorder point and catch potential stockouts before they happen.
- Warehouse: filter by a specific warehouse or view all.
- Page size: adjust how many rows are shown per page.
- Status: watch for OOS/Negative and At/Below ROP.
7. Tips and Best Practices
- Choose clear ranges: start with a 30 to 90 day view, then narrow as needed.
- Compare periods: run Weekly grouping, then Monthly, to spot seasonality and trend direction.
- Act on low stock: review Inventory Health weekly and align restock ETAs with sales velocity.
- Follow through: use Top Customers and Top Products to prioritize outreach and replenishment.
8. FAQ
Why is a table empty for my dates
No orders were placed in that range or filters are too narrow. Try expanding the range and press Update.
How is Avg Order Value calculated
Total revenue divided by number of orders in the same range.
Are canceled orders included
No. Canceled orders are excluded from revenue and counts across reports.
What are Inbound Units
Units scheduled to arrive in the selected date range based on expected restock dates.
Why do bars look short even with large numbers
Bars are scaled within the current results. The longest bar represents the largest value on that screen.
Can I switch warehouses for Inventory Health
Yes. Use the Warehouse selector to filter. Leave it blank to include all warehouses.
Keyboard tip: press Tab to move between inputs, Enter to submit filters quickly.
