Customer Prices - per customer overrides

Use Customer Prices to set a specific unit price for a single customer on a single product. These overrides take top priority when the system resolves pricing for an order.

List view

  • Search by customer name, SKU, or product name.
  • Sort by Customer, SKU, Price, Starts, and Ends. Click the column header to toggle ASC or DESC.
  • Choose the page size that fits your workflow. Paging controls appear below the table.

Create or edit an override

1 - Select Add Override on the list page or Edit next to a row.
2 - Choose a Customer and a Product. Both are required.
3 - Enter the Price and optional Currency (3 letters, default USD).
4 - Optionally add Starts At and Ends At dates to timebox the override.
5 - Click Create or Save Changes.
Validation
  • Price must be a number with up to 2 decimals. Example: 12.50
  • Customer and Product are required.
Common errors
  • Leaving Price blank.
  • Entering currency with non-letters. Use only A-Z, for example USD.

Delete an override

Open the override and click Delete. You will be asked to confirm.

Volume Pricing - tiered discounts

Volume Pricing lets you set a price that applies when buyers purchase at or above a minimum quantity. Tiers can be global for all customers or scoped to one customer.

List view

  • Search by SKU, product name, or customer name.
  • Sort by SKU, Customer, Min Qty, Price, Starts, and Ends.

1 - Select Add Tier or Edit next to a row.
2 - Choose a Product.
3 - Optionally choose a Customer to scope. If you leave it as All Customers, the tier applies to everyone.
4 - Enter Min Qty and Price.
5 - Optionally set Starts At and Ends At.
6 - Click Create or Save Changes.
Validation
  • Product, Min Qty, and Price are required.
  • Price allows up to 2 decimals.

Delete a tier

Open the tier and click Delete. You will be asked to confirm.

Price Lists - named lists you can assign

Price Lists group custom item prices under a name you choose. You can assign customers to a list, and you can add any number of items with list-specific prices.

List view

  • Search by list name. Sort by Name, Currency, Active, and Created.
  • Columns also show how many customers and items are in each list.

Create or edit a list

1 - Select Add Price List or Edit next to a row.
2 - Enter Name, optional 3-letter Currency, and set Active if you want it used immediately.
3 - Click Create or Save Changes. You can return later to manage customers and items.

Assign customers

  • In the Assigned Customers section, choose a customer and click Assign.
  • To remove, click Remove next to the customer.

Add items

  • In the Items & Prices section, choose a product and enter a list price, then click Add Item.
  • To remove, click Remove next to the item.

Enable or disable a list

From the Price Lists table, use the Enable or Disable button. This toggles whether the list is considered when pricing is resolved.

Safe delete rules
  • You cannot delete a list that still has assigned customers or items. Remove those first.

Search, sort, and paging

  • Search accepts simple keywords. Example: type part of a SKU or customer name.
  • Sort by clicking a column header. Click again to flip the direction.
  • Page size options: 10, 25, 50, 100, or 200 items per page.
  • Pager has First, Prev, Next, Last controls.

How pricing is resolved at checkout

  1. If a Customer Price exists for the buyer and product within the date window, use it.
  2. Else if a Volume Pricing tier applies for that quantity (customer-specific first, then global), use it.
  3. Else if the buyer is on an Active Price List that contains the product, use the list price.
  4. Else use the product base price.

Note: Currency fields default to USD if not provided.

FAQ

What happens if date ranges overlap?
The most specific and eligible price wins. Customer Prices outrank Volume and Price Lists. For Volume Pricing, the highest tier that the quantity qualifies for is used.

Can I use different currencies?
Yes. Enter a 3-letter currency code. If you leave it blank, USD is assumed.

I cannot delete a price list. Why?
Lists with assigned customers or items cannot be deleted. Remove those first, then try again.

  • Saved but not seeing changes? Refresh the list and verify sort order and filters.
